From a consumer standpoint, you can integrate the accounts and read Amazon purchases in the Comixology app, so where you buy is just a matter of preference and convenience. But what we can do is keep an eye on that Amazon sale page and see how long it stays up and if there’s a new one next week.Ĭomixology is now firmly part of Amazon, but you’ll notice they don’t always have the same prices and they don’t always run the same sales. We may not find out exactly what happened. It could be that this is some sort of compromise.It could be that Marvel had a closer look at it’s contracts and has a little more control over it’s presentation and pricing on the Comixology site than it does on Amazon.If so, things must move a lot more slowly at Amazon and we’ll have to see if it’s still up tomorrow. My initial thought when this happened, roughly 5am or 6am ET Thursday morning was that there was just a lag between Comixology pulling the pricing and Amazon doing the same.Just keep in mind, Marvel only offers Marvel comics while ComiXology has more publishers available.

I should note, Marvel is also offering the same sale through their app if you prefer that over ComiXology and each offer 'unlimited' access as well as individual selections but comparing the two for their unlimited access is hard, so I suggest just rolling with the individual offerings unless you really want to check out everything. The Black Panther back catalog is pretty large considering Black Panther has been appearing off and on for over 50 years now in comics and graphic novels. That means you can reach back all that way back to 1966's Fantastic Four #52 and check out the T'Challa's first appearance as the Black Panther or jump right to the latest graphic novels Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet. Right now, all Black Panther comics are on sale for up to 67% off until March 1, 2018.
